changing the background...

Hi its me. As always when i have problem and I cant find a solution I come here.
I wanted to change the background from 8th wonder from demo_mainmenu_10 to static background as it was in Northland. You know - just a background without a map playing. I tried many things, but nothing worked. Can I change the application code somehow?
I copied game.exe from northland into 8th wonder and i managed to do it, but game crashes, but i expected this.
I want to make this result:
